In 2007 I feel inlove with the healing powers of yoga when it helped me recover from a shin split injury I had gotten from running for my college's track team. Since then, I'm dedicated to the physical practice alongside with the other wonders it gave me: calmness during exams, confidence, the ability to focus longer periods of times and lightness of the body in everyday life. I am a certified 550 RYT yoga teacher with more than 5 years of experience teaching Hatha, Ashtanga based Vinyasa and Power yoga in retreats, groups as well as curating sessions tailored to the specific needs of my students. This includes working with people who have backache, sensitive knees, broken shoulder, hernia, high blood pressure, neck and wrists injuries, arthritis, anxiety, dancers who seek to improve their strength, balance and flexibility and others. I am constantly updating my knowledge through advanced workshops with leading teachers in India, Israel, Italy and Thailand. I am mindful of providing efficient and safe alignment to prevent injuries, and I am eager to help my students strengthen their core, build upper body strength, improve flexibility, and reduce joint stiffness through our practice. I also teach breathing techniques to boost energy levels, improve focus and concentration, and reduce anxiety, as well as other techniques to improve sleep.
