Heather Nelson, E-RYT/500RYT. A Jacksonville native, Heather began her yoga practice in 1995 and deepened her study while completing her Yoga Alliance Certification in 2010. As a teacher, Heather emphasizes breath awareness and mindful intention to promote a full-body experience of strength, flexibility, stability, and self-exploration. Her classes are creative, grounding, transformative, and a source of love and empowerment – a physical workout that practitioners of all levels can easily modify. Heather is also certified in Power, Silver Age, Kids Yoga, B Yoga, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. Along with her passion for yoga, Heather is the owner of Guardian Title & Trust, Inc., a real estate title insurance company located in Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach. When not on her mat, or immersed in closing documents, you can find her spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle and also volunteers with animal rights and services, supporting Community efforts and Veterans.
