Marisol Enriquez

Marisol began her yoga practice with Bikram Yoga in 2009. After suffering for several years with consistent issues related to lumbar disc herniation, she was elated to discover that this yoga practice gave her healing in so many ways. Physically, she was becoming stronger and more mobile, and her spinal issues seemed to magically go away. Mentally and emotionally, she was becoming more confident and more true to herself. Practicing an intense sequence of poses for 90 minutes in a hot room, in front of a mirror, Marisol was becoming more and more comfortable looking directly at her body, and not only was she becoming accepting of it, she was growing appreciative of her own amazing capabilities with every session. It is for this reason that although she practices and teaches a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Mobility Yoga, she always refers to Bikram Yoga as her medicine. Marisol's classes are precise, slower-paced, light-hearted, encouraging, and calm. Many joke that her calm, peaceful classes are deceptively challenging, but definitely worth the challenge!
